The End

After 24 years of loyal service to my employees, our guests, and community, I have decided to close our doors and retire. This is effective January 24, 2026.

Lux has provided for so many through dedicated service to our guests, meaningful contributions to our community through donations, volunteer hours, and fundraising, as well as through our commitment to our employees, their families, and my own.

As hairstylists, we laugh and cry as we lay hands on those who are not touched, listen to those who are not heard, and empower through our ability to uplift those in our chairs. What we do is impactful and how we do it makes us LUX. It has been my honor to do so.

A sincere and heartfelt thank you to every guest who has supported us and our endeavors over the years, and for sharing your lives and families with us. I thank you all for believing in us and the Lux way.

A special thank you:

To my current team who have weathered the ever changing landscape of hair in post pandemic America; your grit and resolve is unmatched.

To my husband, for never leaving my side.

And to my Lillian, who has had to share her mommy with everyone, and now no longer will.

Have courage and be kind.

With love,

Gloria
